What Your iPhone 6s Color Choice Says About Your Personality (or Lack Thereof)
It seems like just yesterday that pre-orders started for the next-generation iPhone, and that's because it was. You could pre-order your iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus right at midnight early Saturday. In addition to some neat software tricks like 3D Touch and Live Photos, the next-gen iPhones also come in a new color: Rose Gold. So now you can get your choice of four iPhone colors: Silver, Gold, Space Grey and the new Rose Gold.
As soon as the new iPhone 6s color set was unveiled, I stumbled upon this meme on Tumblr.
Which is only mildly funny considering it draws humor from the gendering of colors and simply reinforces feminine stereotypes about gay men. Here is what your iPhone 6s color choice really says about you, whether you're looking to play it cool or make a statement with your smartphone. Just remember , as long as you're confident with your iPhone color choice then you can pull anything off.
Silver: Sleek and unassuming, the Silver iPhone 6s might seem like a boring choice, but it's for those of us who don't want to draw too much attention to our smartphone. We just want it to work.
Gold: Ironically bling-y and gaudy, the Gold iPhone can be considered tacky by some, but it actually fits those of us who don't take themselves too seriously and like to have a little bit of fun with the choice of iPhone color. Apparently this Gold choice is also very popular in China.
Space Gray: Seriously stylish without being too over-the-top, the Space Grey is perhaps the "coolest" choice when it comes to iPhone colors. So no wonder it's a popular choice for iPhone users in the U.K. It's also the only color that sports a black front.
Rose Gold: More sophisticated than the pure Gold, Rose Gold is perfect combination of class and sass. But it still takes a lot of confidence to sport this color choice around, it doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl. This color is also currently the most popular pre-order so far. So expect to spot a lot of these Rose Gold devices this fall.
